Andrew Wojtovich has published two papers and a review article thus far this year, including a manuscript in PeerJ entitled, “A non-cardiomyocyte autonomous mechanism of cardioprotection involving the SLO1 BK channel”, a manuscript in Am J Physiol Heart Circ Physiol entitled, “KIR 6.2 is not the mitochondrial KATP channel, but is required for cardioprotection by ischemic preconditioning” and a review article in Biochim Biophys Acta entitled, “Physiological consequences of complex II inhibition for aging, disease, and the mKATP channel”. The Jackie-trail rolls on!
Next up, a seminal paper on mitochondrial large-conductance potassium channels and review of his recent K99 grant submission. Good luck!
